Prestashop is quite limited in terms of theme and personalizing your store. We had already dedicated an article to free (and paid) themes. This time, we present to you Creative Elements. If you are already familiar with WordPress, you probably know Elementor. Well that’s what we have here: a variation of Elementor, but for Prestashop !
Buy Creative Elements
Everything happens on the official website. The base price will cost you 79.99€ (for 3 months update and support). This is a priori sufficient in most cases.

Install Creative Elements
Important point: Creative Elements don’t settle down like one theme, but as a module. Install it above the Classic theme (not Hummingbird yet)

Enable Creative Elements
Once installed Now go to Modules then search for “Creative Elements” then configure the license

You will be asked to enter the order number. Creative Elements actually provides you with 2 licenses: one for your development environment (to test before deploying), and one for your site itself.
Choose the one that matches your site.
Creative Elements Limitations
You can’t do everything with Creative Elements!
If the customization is very advanced, you won’t be able to do everything either… There is no possibility of “custom code” (apart from CSS). However, we always manage to get closer to what we are looking for. For 1/20th the price of a custom theme, we’re not going to complain!!
Heavier server load
Agencies Prestashop specialized confirm this: in the case of heavy traffic, Creative Elements not suitable. Not only does it generate more PHP/SQL queries, but it is also not necessarily compatible with advanced caching systems such as Varnish. Again, a 100% coded theme gives a better advantage.

The founders of the site “Ma petite laine” (Under Prestashop) broadcast on TV and got 25,000 visits in 1 hour.
In short, if you exceed 2500 visitors/day with 20/30 orders/day we highly recommend that you invest in a coded theme !
Responsive support
I haven’t noticed any bugs, however some other modules are not displayed correctly (PrestaHero’s reCaptcha for example, which requires switching back to a “classic” template)
Creative Elements support is responsive and will best respond to your requests.
My opinion (2026) on Creative Elements
To try it is to adopt it! You can push the personalization of your site very far. This is the perfect module if you are new to Prestashop and that you have time to spend personalizing your site.
If you have any doubts, I highly recommend you give it a try Elementor free on WordPress. It’s pretty much the same thing. So you can get your hands on it easily and without spending a penny !
